New Year walking into North West

North West at 392 Columbus Ave. has some of the most beautiful photographs to look at while dining. The highback booths, excellent Chicken Paillard was simply a divine way to ring in the New Year. This restaurant is small but the coziness invites romantic discussions & the perfect backdrop for a memorable NYC night out. The only drawbacks were that they ran out of the caprese salad & the potato gnocci. So both people in my party had to substitute their choices.

On the same block you can saunter into Burton Lounge equipped with two roaring fireplaces, lot's of couches, and a perfect after party place with your beautiful date.

Trinity rings in the New Year in style

The place was Trinity, found at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. Located at 6th Ave & Church St. The scene was a mixed group of metropolitan and international visitors determine to ring in the New Year in the chic and hot Tribeca. The menu was a prix fix menu offering Filet Mignon, Sable, Tuna Tartare, Apple Tartin & just a well organized menu full of high cuisine choices! The decor was the cool den at Tribeca Grand. Candles and low lit lighting balanced against the soaring ceilings of the hotel really made this place fun to celebrate.

The DJ's played 80's to the 2004's & everything cool & classic. Entertainment ranked high as the fellow merrymakers got down and danced the night away. The countdown & watching the ball drop while partying it up was simply priceless...

The champagne did not stop flowing, neither to the getting down for some good dancing and grooving... This was simply one of the best New Years I've had. Can't wait to measure it up with next years!

Wishing you all the best in 2005! May all of your wishes & dreams come true!
