The Moussaka that's worth the trek to Astoria

On a wintry evening we were having dinner with friends and wanted to dine in one of the famed Greek Restaurants in Astoria. So trekking out for some delicious Greek food, was the adventure I've been craving for this winter.

We ordered white wine & diet sodas. Our friends recommended their tsantziki, in addition we ordered the santorini fava & shared a greek salad.

Entrees we ordered Grilled Calamari, Sword Fish Kebab, the special Moussaka, Tigania-chicken, potatoes with lemon & spices. Everyone was happy with their entrees!

Dessert was a dish of sour cherry preserves spooned over creay yogurt, accompanied by 2 types of sweet but dense semolina cake.

The Verdict? Come check out this cozy Greek Restaurant. We went on a weeknight, and it still got packed. Can't wait to go back again!!!
