I've heard rave reviews of the infamous Gotham Bar & Grill, friends were wined & dined there, & it's a popular place to go during the infamous Restaurant Week! My friend himself had celebrated at this very restaurant! So when it was time for a pow-wow dinner, T suggested Gotham Bar & Grill, & like a goddess, I agreed it was a fabulous place to check out the hype. I would have to say, I loved the decor, it had the garden spilling into the restaurant. Our waitress was the most attentive, sweetest waitress ever! We had a nice elegant dinner, and the food was simply amazing!!!
I had the chicken, my mom the miso cod, T's mom the salmon, his uncle and aunt the steak, T the grilled lamb.
We also shared 3 appetizers, the tuna tartare, the ceviche & spring roll, and the seared foie gras, and we shared 3 desserts, the tiramisu, the creme brulee with churros, and strawberry souffle. The food was really delicious. & we all had either coffee or tea =)
My favorite will have to be the seared foie gras & the grilled lamb! The foie gras would transport you with it's flavors and it was simply divine, the grilled lamb was perfectly tasty, not overcooked, and the seasoned herbs were really mouth watering, and I can't wait to return for another occassion! The desserts I loved was the creme brulee of caramel or chocolate dipped with the churros, as well as the delicious strawberry souffle! I loved the presentation, the service, and most importantly the food, we were never rushed, we had the nicest table, and we enjoyed the whole experience!
